Is this an appropriate haircut for a 6yr old boy? Picture inside?

My son has had his hair long for a year and he loves it. I think it was cute while he was little but he should get a shorter cut until he gets older. He is the only little boy in our area with longer hair (he is 6.... I have seen plenty of older kids with that style but not his age) so I dont know if people think it is an odd hair style for him to have. Any opinions?

Awww... that's such a cute cut... I know tons of guys who have that cut, even older men. It should be fine on your son as long as he also likes it. I learned that the hard way. My daughter hated her hair cut and cut it again by herself! Bad situation. So if he likes it you should defiantly get it!!! :] !

aww your little boy looks sooo cute, yes his hair is adorable. it's natural curly. i think he looks good. my husband and i have natural curly hair. he has the curls too like that and i love it.. keep it the way it is ok.

yes- I think it's quite adorable. If you want to trim it up, I say go for it, but it's a cute cut and it makes him happy

Really don't think it was necessary to block out his face, looks like he's a cute kid, and no, i don't think it's an 'inappropriate' haircut for a 6-year-old, let him express his style however he wants to. If you force him to cut it differently he'll be mad at you for it and won't forget it for quite awhile, if he was wearing girls clothes or make-up or something, then you should step in, but it just a skater-boy haircut, let him have his way on this one.

His hair doesn't look too long.

His school might have guidelines that will have to be observed in the fall--

But if he likes his hair that way and you're fine with his hair being that length then everything is fine. It doesn't eally matter what others think or what the style is for a 6yr old, as long as you're all happy.
