Faux hawk. and for color, fish bowl(special effects hair dye) for the part you put up and blue mayhem(Special effects hair dye) for the sides. Don't forget to bleach your hair first or the colors won't show up good.

Or you could just have sorta longish hair(about three inches) and dye different parts of it(random chunks) those two colors and just put hair glue in it and make it look really messy and sticking up.

Hard to be rebellious in today's culture since every hair style imaginable is within eye shot at the mall. Depends on who you are rebelling against. I'd say just look around at the most common styles for your age and gender and do something totally different. If you go over the top you'll just look pathetic and like you're compensating for something you don't have inside. If the guys where you live are all jocks with short hair, grow it out and style it with highlights. If they are preps, then go buzz. You get the picture. Whatever you do, make sure you are comfortable with how it looks. Nothing sadder than a regretful rebel.

The key here? Try some temporary or semipermanent haircolor. :) That way, it's not long before you can try another looking - without a lot of hassle.

There's a lot on the market today to benefit from if you're interested in experimenting. As far as the 'cut' end - grow it out to the shoulders and ask for layers in the top (bangs, NOT a mullter) --- this will give you the length to experiment with a lot of looks. The key to THAT? You want to do something unconventional that will still look good. Have you thought of low-lights? That's when you add dark streaks to your hair. Girls often do this if they have light hair that's boring. It can look great on any kind of brown hair. I know you're a guy, but if you decide to do low lights don't use a men's hair color product. Use one that is labeled semi-permanent or demi permanent. It will last for a few weeks but won't damage your hair or bleach it the way permanent color can.

i m n love with the "manic panic" and the "punky colour" lines. if u get one of those u should also get a bleach kit so that the colour is better and brighter. fo me i spend maybe 27 bucks on everything every 2-3 months when i feel like going that way with my hair. (that includes shipping and hadling! gods i love being cheap!!!!) not sure if it will help, but i thought it would be worth a shot....

and as for the cut. grab a pair of hair shears and hack away untill u got something u like.
