Going to Prom Next Weekend..Need some help with styling..?

So..i have a light pinkish peach colored dress...and i don't know how i should do my make-up--%26gt; i really like dramatic eyeliner..but don't really know how. I also need some ideas for hair--%26gt; i'm going to a salon to get it done..but don't know what to suggest..my hair is dyed black (which currently i hate..and after prom i will be fixing back to brown..lol)....have any ideas fior me?

To get your makeup done really well, go to a make up counter in the mall, tell them it's prom, and they will usually do your make-up for free. Although, they do try really hard, and usually succeed, to sell you the products they used on you. And also, dramatic eyeliner might not be the best idea for prom, since you will be dancing and getting sweaty, which means running make-up. Not too cute unless you like racoon eyes!

OK... eyes i reckon you should go for a pale coulour which goes with your dress, mascara brown or black, eyeliner brown.

Hair i suggest it should be caught up in a half up half down comb near the nape of your neck have fun!!!

Hair- Get a sleek, pretty updo. This is a classic, yet sophisticated look for prom or any other forma is a mustl. A hair accessory such as a tiara can make you look and feel like a princess. ;]

Makeup- From the inside corner of your eye, use a peachy-pink shadow. Continuing to the middle, switch to a dark brown for a smokey look. Add some definition to your lashes with black mascara. Add a more dramatic look with dark brown or black liner. Use a light, peach blush to compliment your cheek bones. Finally, add a peachy-pink shimmery gloss to your lips for luscious lips.

HOW TO APPLY LINER:

Tilt your head back slightly and bring your eyes to a half-open state. This creates a good angle for application, while allowing you to see what you're doing. Draw a line across the upper lid just above the lashes, from the inside corner to the outside corner of the eye. If you're using liquid liner, allow it to dry before opening your eyes all the way, or the color may transfer into the crease of your eye. If you used a brush or a pencil, soften the look by gently smudging the line with your brush, a cotton swab or your finger. Line the lower lids. Moving from the outside edge inward, draw a line on the outer two-thirds of the lid or more, depending on the look you're going for. Your line should be slightly thicker at the outside corner, becoming thinner as it moves in toward your nose. Using your brush or pencil, lightly stroke the area. If using a liquid liner, apply it in one smooth stroke. Apply less color so your eyes don't appear raccoonlike.
