I would say if her skin is pale, she should get her cut about jaw length and have it patred to the side with bangs in front and cut it short to about 1.5 inches in the back so she can spike it. It only takes about 5 minutes in the morning. To spike the back, all she needs is for her hair to be damp and some Pantene styling hair wax and you apply it like mousse and run fingers thru hair in a circular motion. This is what I do to my hair when I'm having a bad hairday.
