What color hose and shoes?

I have a formal that does just below the knee. it's red with a halter style top. I have really long hair, that I have decided to fix down, even though it will hide the back ( what do you think?) Also, red is hard to match, so should I wear natural hose and black shoes or what? Any advice on anything to do with wearing this would be greatly appreciated!

How about no hose?...If you're 35 or under...hose is just old looking..instead get some of that Sally hansen mircromist spray stuff to even out the color of your legs if they're weird or something...
