What would you label me as?

I don't want to be labeled as anything, really, but I go to an online school, so I don't really know what people would label me when they see me. I just dress in whatever clothes I like, I'm not trying to be anything. I always wear hot topic clothes, because I can't find their style clothes anywhere else, I don't over-do my makeup, I just wear it normal since I can't use eyeliner[not that I'm not allowed, I just have eye problems], and I dye my hair black[its orginally blonde], I straighten it, and it's layered quite a lot. I'll be getting it dyed hot pink fading to black at the ends soon. I never smile, but I laugh a lot as I find humor in everything, I have braces[getting them off tomorrow], and I listen to mainly heavy metal, and I don't seem to fit in with average people I meet, and I absolutely can't stand happy people, family, or preps - I get along perfect with people who get labeled "freaks/emos/goths." So, please, tell me what you would label me, I'm just curious.

I don't label people, but since you asked...I think others would label you as Goth. The extreme make-over with your hair, the type of clothes you wear, and the music you listen to would definitely say goth. Do not worry about what others think of you as or what you are labeled as. Worry about if you are confident in yourself. If you don't love yourself, you can't love others! There is nothing wrong with goth. Everyone should be seen as an individual for who they are...not what they are!

Well you seem to be a goth. and thats cool im hip to it... Nothing wrong with being different and enjoy it now discover who you are, what you like and what you want out of life. Don't think to much on it but keep focused on school. You sound like a smart lady so you'll be alright. When you get older you might have to change your style a bit but don't worry you can still be different but i guess not as extreme as you are now so enjoy while you can.

A typical teenager. Although if I were a teen labeling you, you'd probably fall in the emo section. I think you have the right to dress and express yourself any way you like as long as you're not harming yourself or anyone else. Labels are ridiculous because they really don't "mean" anything. Or tell anything about you as a person. Dress how you want, just remember it's what on the inside that counts......sorry, I'm a happy person, can't help it.

do you need to be labeled? if so, i would label you a teenager. despite what you may believe labels are substitutions for real life. Are your friends really freaks or are they middle children starving for attention in a world who doesnt know they exist? do they have crab claws for hands? prolly not. how many emo kids are truly bipolar or manic depressive? how many goths have ever seen a person die? hate to be rude but the only ppl that i know that label themselves by what they dress as are clowns. at least they get paid.

Hi, first of all u dont label urself and dont let others label u too! Juz be yourself!! U can have ur own style and not necessary to be like the others. Each and every individual of us is different. The only thing i dont understand is why you cant stand happy people and family?? Is kinda of weird bt im sure you have a happy family too! Try to be more an optimistic person and think positively. Sounds like you are a person who is happy with yourself just the way you are. Yes, some people might give you a label that you don't necessarily like but since YOU like the way you are, why should you care what narrow minded people think? Be yourself, there is always going to be people that don't like you for one reason or another, the people that you want around you are the ones that like you no matter what you look like. Like Lincoln said, "You can't please all of the people all of the time." BTW, I love what you are going to do with your hair, the pink on top and black on the bottom.

Also BTW, even though I am almost 50yo, I love for people to express themselves. I like or dislike people for their personality, not for their looks (or color, creed, or sexual preference for that matter)

However, you are labeled by people in society. If you hang with people who are automatically labeled then you are labeled already-we here dont have to label you.

Guilty by association-have you heard of that? If you hange with thugs you are labeled a thug. If you are hangin with nice people you are associated with that group.
