What this all about? ladies please help with fashion question?

my wife has always been into fashion and "this seasons styles and colors" and all of tha good stuff. we arent cowboys but living in rural indiana i like to say were country. anyways for being country, sports oriented people she has always dressed very nice from dior to cavalli. what im getting at is you could always trust her fashion sence. well she was always into black as she thought it was modern and classy. well she has went into what i call goth or emo. she says im just out of touch but she is wearign more black than ever dyed her hair catherine zeta-jones black (which i have to give her credit she does look more classy like catherine zeta-jones than a goth or emo chick. she just tells me that dark is in and she isnt goth or emo just keeping up to date with fashion. so is she just staying with fashion or is she slipping to the dark side?

when i read that last part i really had to chuckle. just let her play it out maybe in the summer she will start wearing brighter colors. i don't believe black is "in" to the point you would need to wear it on a constant basis. as long as she is not talking to darth vadar on the phone or talking about suicide i think u will be ok. maybe she just feels confidant in black?? if you like her better in color compliment her whenever she wears something w/ a little color or tell her what color she looks the best in.

Black i classy to a point, she shouldn't be in all black unless it's a dress. It can be a bit much.. and can be percieved as, like you say goth or emo. She should wear black as an accessory, just like any other color. Also keep in mind that black is an evening color, to dinner or a date. Color is ALWAYS in. Don't go overboard. Just like someone would look silly in head to toe green or purple, the same goes for black. Everything in moderation. I wouldn't worry until she starts wearing black jeans, eww.
