I need to pump up my style!?

I am a very conservative indian girl!I really need to pump up my style, and i am not allowed to use makeup, hairspray. i have knee lenght long and silky thick black hair, and i wear it in a braid. i am not allowed to wear it down as it tangles up. i do not wear tanks, skirts shorter than my upper calfs, and do not wear tight clothes. i am more of a jock! got any suggestions. i am in 7th grade(12 years old) and need to fit in at school. i shop at target, and like my cultural indian kurtis tops. i do not wear abercromie. aeropastle, hollister... etc.please give some tips and some advice!

in order to change your style you might have to change the places that you shop at. My friend is Indian like you and she always looks amazing without all the makeup and girly style. She has silky thick black hair like you and has bangs to one side. She wears graphic teas a lot and sort of tight dark jeans. with an awesome belt to go with. Her pants are never too tight so it doesn't show her love handles. Try wearing a long sleeve shirt under a sporty tee shirt that is made for girl. One that isn't too loose but isn't too tight where it comes up when you walk. some head bands look good too. try places like clairs. My friend wears the kind of thick shiny solid color ones. and try making your hair looking messy but not where it looks like you didnt brush it. get what i mean?. My boyfriend loves it. Oh and try a choker with a longer necklace. Play up the accessories. lots of necklaces is in and a cute watch with some bracelets is good. and for shoes try some vans. hope it helps

Make a spiral bun with your braid and leave some of the hair out at the top, if it looks fine this way with your hair type, or completely in the bun if not. Do a spiral bun on each side one day for something different.

I suggest you wear your hair in a high pony tail or make 2 braids .I would wear cute jeans with a cute top from target .And if all fails remember to Accessorize!!

i would wear jeans and maybe tshirts. cut ur hair to a reasonable length.and wear ur hair in diff. styles like high ponies, half ponies,and buns. oohhh even better, sloppy buns. all the boys at my school love those. think about what the pl at ur school wear and maybe mix their stlyle wihttur style. but still saty u. embrace that indian girl! happy holidays! =)

spice up that braid with cute hair clips.always wear cute earrings like hoops.wear a colorful scarf. dont wear jeans over the navel. stay young and be bold
